Ingredients of Caesar Salad with anchovies and red pepper:

2 red peppers

1 head of lettuce or 1 tray baby spinach

2 good cans of sardines in oil

1 small bunch parsley

1 onion

3 cloves garlic

Zest and juice of 1 organic lemon

Cold-pressed virgin olive oil

Ground Salt and freshly ground black pepper

How to prepare Caesar  Salad with anchovies

Cut the peppers in half and place the peppers on baking parchment skin side up. Put them for grilling  in the oven and grill them until they are completely dark brown / black in the skin (watch them). Get the peppers in a freezer bag and let them be capricious. Remove the skin with a small sharp knife and cut  the peppers into strips.Rinse the lettuce, swirl it dry and spread the leaves on a platter. Split sardines along the fillets and arrange them along with the grilled pepper strips over the salad. Chop the parsley, onion and garlic coarsely. Mix it with finely grated zest from the lemon and pour it over the salad. Drizzle with fresh lemon juice and  olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
